Mission - Serving Those Who Served An industry partner with the Department of Veterans Affairs, providing state-of-the-art direction and leadership in career transition for separating, retiring and disabled military personnel, using common sense career evaluation, counseling, business consulting, coaching, career management and outplacement. Structure - Veterans Transition Services is a California Corporation, formed by Service-Disabled Veterans who have Master Degrees in Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling and related degrees, hold national certifications and are Registered Professional Counselors in the State of California. VTS, Inc. serves veterans in: California and Ohio. History - Since 1989 many of our members began providing quality vocational and career evaluation and counseling services to separating, retiring, and service disabled veterans, persons with disabilities, individuals, business, organizations, and academic advising to college bound students. Together, our members created the recognized national model for providing services to transitioning and separating veterans. In 2007, a group of service-disabled veterans formed Veterans Transition Services, Inc. VTS, Inc. joined into an industry partnership with the Department of Veterans Affairs to provide disabled veterans, separating, and retiring military personnel with career transition services. VTS, Inc. provides FREE career transition services to all veterans prior to their date of separation and for one year after separation. Through referral from the Department of Veterans Affairs, VTS, Inc. also provides vocational rehabilitation services to disabled veterans, assisting our wounded warriors to rejoin their communities. These career transition services are an entitled benefit to military personnel to whom we hold a debt of gratitude for the services they have given our country.
